Hello Big Country!

Well after the heavy rains of this past weekend we have additional rain and storms scattered across parts of the central and western Big Country this afternoon. These showers and storms are associated with some disturbances moving southward in the north flow up in the atmosphere. No severe stuff expected but the chance for some rain will continue into tonight.

The rest of the week looks dry and pleasant with temperatures staying comfortable for the next few days. Then a big time cool blast is expected behind a front on Friday bringing in highs in the very fall-like 60s for Saturday and Sunday.

Your latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast:

Tonight: A slim rain shower or storm chance. Partly cloudy skies. Lows near 53.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs near 75.

Wednesday: Sunny skies. Highs near 82.
