Police Searching for Armed Robber

Abilene police are looking for a suspect who reportedly held up the 7-Eleven convenience store at the intersection of Industrial Blvd. and Treadaway Blvd.  The armed robbery happened around 9:55 p.m. Monday.  A police K-9 was used to help track down the suspect.

This is at least the fifth armed robbery in the Abilene area in the past week.  Three were at convenience stores, one at a bank, and one at a liquor store.  Police have not said if any of the cases are linked.
