The 8th Annual Solid Groove Music and Arts Festival gets underway this weekend at Play Faire Park.  The event features over a dozen artist from across the Lonestar State.

Artists such as Tony Barker, Lori Sims, and 'Fraid Knot will be among the performers during the two day festivities. For a full list of artists for each day, see below. There will also be plenty of family friendly activities to look forward too, such as a kid's area, miniature golf, and horse rides.

The event is sponsored by Relics, The Record Guys, and Monk's Coffee House. Tickets at the gate are $8 Friday and $12 Saturday. If you plan on making it out both days, a two day pass will cost you $15. There is also a $5 cooler charge.

Money raised at this year's Solid Groove Festival will go to benefit The Legacy Complex which provides support for autistic children and veterans through equestrian therapy.
