Cougars or eagles.
"It's the rivalry game, it's the big game for the year," said Tracye Joyner, who works at the Halftime Sports shop in Abilene.
Employees are used to having fans line up to show a bit of team spirit.
But never to this magnitude.
"This morning we had people waiting for us to open," said Joyner.
It's the big crosstown rivalry game to between Abilene's two high school football teams and for Abilene High alum Kelsey Cruise, the outcome is a no-brainer.
"I'm going to gloat," said Cruise, whose family is divided among Cooper and Abilene High alumna.
Just don't mention that to Cooper fans.
"This is our year so Cooper will be winning," said Courtney Farr.
But there's one t-shirt that seems to bring even the biggest rivals together.
"Pink is the big seller because you know it is breast cancer awareness," said Joyner.
Things at the t-shirt factory are especially busy now that 300 shirts are being sold a day and its not just Abilene or Cooper high fans who are buying them.
"We have some Wylie fans buying them we have some aunts and all the surrounding towns that are buying the shirt," said Joyner.
Fans need not worry however about being left out.
Hundreds of shirts are being made throughout the day to restock.
"We're constantly printing and printing so were selling them as fast as we can print them," said Joyner.
With so many sales, it looks more like Christmas Eve than just an ordinary week.
You work day and night to get ready for these games ,but this is what we wait all year long for, but the empty shelves seem to prove today is far from average here in Abilene.
