There are lot's of positives to take from that game even though the Cougars came up on the wrong end of the score.
They were able to hold one of the best offenses in check for most of the game, and quarterback Lorenzo Joe had a great day throwing the ball.
Those are all good, but ultimately Cooper lost, but now they are looking forward to Midland High.
Coach Moebes said, "We went out yesterday morning, it was cold outside, and had a good practice yesterday. That's what you got to do. You've got to move on. You've got a month left in the season. We've got 4 district games to play, and nothing is anymore important than this Friday. " Coach Moebes added, "That's what's great about this game. It teaches you character and how you respond to adversity. We've faced adversity this year, and the kids have responded like champions. I expect them to do it, again"
The Cougars are back at home for the 3rd straight week on Friday night. They host Midland High at Shotwell Stadium. Cooper is 2-2 in district. The Bulldogs are 2-1 in district.
