Winter Gas Prices Expected to Drop

By: Kristin Anderson
Updated: October 9, 2012
Gas prices have been getting lower, and they are expected to continue getting lower as we move into the winter months.

Right now, Texans are paying an average of $3.54 per gallon, which is 24 cents below the national average.

But, with the change from summer-blend to winter-blend fuel, the prices will continue to get lower.

Officials at AAA say they normally are lower around this time of year, but shortages in California and the northeast have caused the gas prices to stay a little higher.
