The official high in Abilene Tuesday was 84 degrees, but the high Wednesday is forecast to be around 15 degrees cooler.  Clouds will redevelop Wednesday, and temperatures will be slow to warm up thanks to a north wind.  There is also a slight chance for light showers Wednesday and Wednesday night.

The best chance for rain, and probably some strong thunderstorms, will be Friday night into Saturday through about mid-day.  Although rain stays in the forecast daily through early next week, only hit and miss chance the rest of the time, outside of Friday night and Saturday.

Highs near 68 on Wednesday but back to about 80 Thursday through the weekend.  Overnight lows in the low 50's Tuesday night but the 60's for the rest of the week.

Plan on a very windy day on Thursday.
