The Abilene Police Department has identified a new traffic problem at Judge Ely Boulevard.
Jason Anderson walks Judge Ely everyday to pick up his daughter, Sophia, from Taylor Elementary.
His walk takes him down several blocks of the street that the Abilene Police Department says has become a problem area as far as traffic accidents.
Sergeant  Richy Waggoner with the APD says it is people's failure to yield the right of way that is the biggest reasons people get in accidents.
Anderson says he sees it everyday.
Waggoner says the enforcement in this area will be stepped up and APD hopes to send a message.
And Anderson is asking drivers in this area to look out for him and his daughter as they go to and from school.
