Though a problem all over the city, for one neighborhood, pot holes are not just bad.

"There are pot holes out here are really bad," said Karen O'Neill.

Karen says the pot holes have thrown her truck out of alignment and are unsafe for everyone.

"The block down here, I think it's Cole and Marlborough and it turns into Cole. And they're really bad. And when you hit them, you really kind of have to go out of your lane and it can be  dangerous," she explained.

Bad for the neighborhood, and bad for your car.

"We've seen some blown out tires, we've seen some bent wheels. We've seen some front end damage, such as ball joints being bent and what have you. Any number of items from the pot holes," said Jimmy Campbell, owner of Procter Automotive.

But for Karen and her neighbors, the issue is with how often these holes repeatedly pop up.

"They'll come and patch it,  it's no time they're washed right out again," she said.

"Sometimes they even do them while they're still wet, and that really makes it bad," said Donald Connell.

City officials say they do have to repair the same pot holes over and over again. But that's because the roads are so old.

"Because they're older pavements, they tend to have more issues with the surface. A pot hole repairs is something we do temporarily until there's enough money available to redo the whole road," said Rodney Abila, street services program administrator.

But what works for some.

"They seem to repair them. Not real timely, but they get them repaired. They keep me happy," said Donald.

Doesn't always work well for others.

"It takes forever to get anybody out here to come," said Karen. "And then when they do do it, they just barely they don't do a good job where it stays."
