Updated: October 11, 2012
This Saturday is the annual Stop the Violence rally, and this year it is bigger then ever.

Victims of violent crimes join together to share stories and support for one another in the fight against violence in town.

The stories are meant to not only encourage, but to inform the Abilene community about the realities of violent crime in our area.

Stories like brandy Jones whose son was was affected by violence.

Brandi has now gone back to school as a criminal justice major and is working with the Crime Victims Crisis Center in order to help other victims of crime.

Stop the Violence is this Saturday at the Expo Center from 10 a.m. 'till 5 p.m.
