Man Critically Injured in Breckenridge Hit-and-Run

On Thursday, around 1 p.m., the Breckenridge Police Department received several 911 calls in reference to a hit-and-run in the 100 block of South Miller Street.

All officers responded to the address and, upon arrival, found a subject identified as Otho Dale Noggle in the roadway with a severe head wound.

After speaking with witnesses, a description of the vehicle was obtained. Sgt. Jeff Baker knew the vehicle and went to the residence of the driver.

The vehicle was located in the area, but no one was around it. So, Sgt Baker spoke with some people in the area and found that the driver and two passengers got out of the vehicle and fled.

The driver was identified as Brandon Wayne Harris, 36.

Harris came to the Law Enforcement Center approximately 30 minutes later and was interview by Capt. Jim Pence and Officer Billy Wade.

After the interview, Harris was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon (motor vehicle).

Harris will be arraigned Friday, October 12 for this charge.

The victim, Noggle, was transported to Stephens Memorial Hospital and then on to Harris Methodist Hospital in Forth Worth where, at the last known update, he was listed in critical condition.
