22nd ranked Merkel and 23rd ranked Eastland meeting at Mavericks Stadium.
Eastland's first possession. Sporting there brand new grey uniforms. Josh Moylan hooks up with Matt Majors for a 20 yard pick up and its 1st down in Merkel territory.
2 plays later, Moylan decides to keep it, runs for 10 yards and another 1st down close to the goal line.
From there running back Brandon Allen takes the Handoff. Jumps over the line and into the Endzone for the touchdown. Eastland takes a 7-0 lead.
Eastland wins this Class 2A showdown 34-20.
