U.S. Navy Jazz Ensemble Coming to Snyder

The U.S. Navy Jazz ensemble will be performing in Snyder, and tickets are still available.

The ensemble, known as the Commodores, will perform a free concert at 4 p.m. Oct. 28 at The Coliseum.

In 1976, the ensemble performed at "Operation Sail," part of the United States' Bicentennial festivities in New York City. In 1992, the Commodores performed aboard the USS John F. Kennedy during Fleet Week in New York City.

The band is currently on a tour of North America and will be making a stop in New Mexico before traveling to Snyder.

Tickets mat be purchesed at the Snyder Daily News, Big Apple Deli, United Supermarkets and The Coliseum.
