Fifteen-year-old Jesse Rainey was shot in the head around 3:30 Saturday morning.

Investigators say a group of 8 teenage boys were staying at the home.

They say some of the teens wanted to prank the group and make it seem like an intruder had gotten inside the home.

Officials say Rainey, who was in on the prank, was hiding in a closest when he got shot.

The teens immediately called 911 and loaded Rainey in the back of a pickup truck.

The boys drove to the Midway Grocery and Package store where they met up with emergency crews and deputies.

Community members are now trying to cope with what happened.

No parents were at the home when the shooting happened.

Deputies say several guns were found and taken from the crime scene.

At this point, no charges have been filed.
