The Swenson House of Abilene is undergoing a spooky transformation by hosting its 5th annual Haunted Abilene during the weekend before Halloween.

The event invites all Big Country residents for the two night event on October 26th and 27th. Haunted Abilene will showcase their brand new entertainment, the Spooky Trolley tour.

"It's a safe environment, and for the whole family," says Marti Puls of Haunted Abilene. "You could spend all weekend there."

Their popular Mansion and Graveyard tour is expected to attract many, as well as their Garden of Good & Evil where an outdoor scary movie will screen. Plus, let's not forget about the food.

"Each year is different so you're never going to know what you're going to find, but there's also been a lot of community involvement," adds Puls.

Volunteers have been an integral part in making this year's Haunted Abilene. Dress rehearsal for the event will take place October 24th at 7p.m.
