Abilene Club To Host Annual Fashion Show

The Abilene Woman's Club is hosting their Annual Fabulous Fall Fashion Show this Friday as one of the club's four benefits every year.
The show will be the first event for the organization this year and will feature clothing from Lin's Sportswear and Wild Ones boutique. Their goal is to help fund the club's support for the Abilene community through scholarships and their "Girl Of The Month" program. Plus, it will help maintain AWC's building built in 1955.
The Abilene Woman's Club was founded in 1928 and continues to fulfill promoting the cultural and civic advancement of Abilene through the study of literature, history, science, painting, music, and other fine arts.
"It's a fun for the Abilene Woman's Club, the community and not everything we do is necessarily open to the public so we do this for the public and for them to view our building," says Lin Rushing of AWC.
