Many parents agree, their teens text constantly. Many teens say it's a great way to communicate.
This means kids are spending hours, bent over in slumped positions. And that's where the problems start.
Chiropractors warn of the new condition is called "text neck."
They say if you're looking at a smartphone in your lap, your neck is holding up what feels like 20 or 30 pounds. For every inch your head goes foward, you are adding ten pounds.
Many teens admit they have felt some back or neck pain, but usually just ignore it. Doctors say that is a huge mistake.
