Lieutenant Colonel Robert E. Lee (of the 2nd United States Cavalry) will be visiting Buffalo Gap from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on October 27 with tales of the Texas frontier and his time patrolling this region on behalf of the United States in the late 1850s.

Lee will be portrayed by living historian Robert Gleason.

Lt. Col. Lee's visit is the highlight of the Buffalo Gap Historic Village's Comanche Moon Social fundraising event.

Joining Lee for the evening will be 2012 National Fiddling Champion Mia Orosco, accompanied by Texas Old Time Fiddling Association President and fiddler Bryan Jimmerson, and acoustic guitar specialist Devon McCauley.

World-renowned Chef Tom Perini will provide a meal that is completely "off menu" and authentic to the times.

There will be a silent auction to accompany the food and entertainment.

Tickets to this event are $125, and proceeds from Colonel Lee's visit will support the Buffalo Gap Historic Village.
