The 4th Annual Survivor FEST returns this year to help promote breast cancer awareness while celebrating the survivors who've faced the disease.

This year, the event will have a dance with Jody Nix and The Texas Cowboys for entertainment. Also, there'll be a silent auction, snacks, and a cash bar available.

"It's just time to celebrate life The main mission is to raise awareness for women to get their mammograms and early detection because it's the only way to fight the disease," says Survivor FEST founder, Barbara Pointer.

Pointer advices people to make sure to catch it early and small so the there's better chances for survival.

This is the fourth time the event is benefitting the Alliance for Women & Children. The organization have had a breast cancer awareness program for 21 years and provide free mammogram check-ups for those without insurance.

Pointer is a breast cancer survivor herself for three years. She simply says for anyone who has cancer to "keep your chin up."
