Chopper Madness Continues

By: Kristin Anderson
Updated: October 20, 2012
The madness continued at Seabee Park Saturday with the Abilene RC Society's "Chopper Madness."

People were out enjoying the warm weather while practicing their flying skills with their model helicopters. Competitions started at 9 this morning and will continue until 11:30 Saturday evening. And for those that fly the helicopters, having events like this one in abilene gives them a chance to get to know more people while having a good time.

"I mean, anytime you can have more people involved, you know, the camaraderie is one of the great things about this hobby. Anytime you can have more people, the better it is," said Jamie Robertson.

The Chopper Madness will continue through the rest of this weekend.
