I continue to lean toward colder temperatures in my forecast following passage of a cold front on Thursday.  Before that, a warm day on Wednesday with highs in the middle 80's.  I believe the front will pass through Abilene around noon on Thursday, which leads to a day of cooler temperatures in the northern Big Country and warmer temperatures across the southern Big Country.

I'm forecasting a chilly 40 degrees by early Friday morning, counting on clouds to develop by Friday morning and with gusty north wind, temperatures will lock in on Friday and not change much all day long.  I'm forecasting a high of 45 on Friday and then 38 Friday night.

There is also a slight chance for light rain or drizzle behind the front on Friday and Friday night, which means if you are going to a football game Friday night, bundle up and prepare for the cold and possibly damp.

Saturday, highs will try to climb a little into the mid 50's.  Sunday's high near 63.
