Abilene police arrested a burglary suspect in south Abilene Thursday morning.

A man who lives on the 2200 block of Post Oak reported seeing a man run out of his back door when he got home a few minutes prior.

Police say the home owner gave a good description of the suspect and what he was driving.

The resident was able to give police a description of the burglar and part of the license plate, as well as a good description of the sport utility vehicle the burglar was driving.

Patrol officers found the suspect at South 14 and Ross about 9:30 Thursday morning.

Police took the man to jail on felony charges.
