Early Voting Numbers Strong in Brown County

Early voting continued Thursday at Adams Street Community Center in Brownwood.

An early voter record was set Wednesday and it doesn't appear to be slowing down.

People were filing in and out, placing their votes for the November 6th general election.

They are expecting this year's turnout to top 2008's 63 percent, despite a clerical error that occured earlier this week during ISD voting.

The error was corrected and the community is asking you to remember to vote.

Why?

"Because that's the only way you're going to express the freedom you have in this country," says voter Annora Ables. "And I feel like everyone who doesn't vote, well they aren't going to have a voice in what's gonna happen to this country. "

Early voting ends on November 2.
