Abilene sees its fair share of local bands, and several acts that are on tour. Venues such as Lucky Mule invites artists and bands to give Abilene residents a treat as they put on a show.

Adelitas Way knows how to do just that. This isn't  the 5-member band's first time to play in Abilene, nor is it their first or last time to play for many fans. The group is currently on tour playing singles from their sophomore album, Homeschool Valedictorian.

One of the highest peaks for the group was their time open for rock legend, Guns N' Roses. On Thursday's show, two members of the band stopped by to speak with host Matthew Torres right before their performance at Lucky Mule that night.

The group talked about their latest tour, music videos, and even the reason behind the album's name.
