Albany police continue to investigate the death of a 7-week-old child.
Officials confirm the baby is believed to have died over the weekend from suffocation after the father rolled over him while he was sleeping.
Family members called an ambulance and the child was taken to Hendrick Medical Center where he was eventually pronounced dead.
Police say CPS is now involved in the case.
They are still waiting for autopsy results to officially determine the cause of death.
