Coleman, Jim Ned to Meet Over Novice Consolidation Controversy

By: Kristin Anderson
Updated: October 29, 2012
It's been a few months since Novice ISD closed down, but the issues regarding consolidation continue.

Coleman ISD and Jim Ned CISD will be meeting with Novice in Austin tonight after some issues came up during the consolidation process.

While Coleman has agreed to consolidate with Novice and take on their debt, Jim Ned has petitioned for a detachment of the Novice property.

Monday night's meeting will help clear up those issues, and Coleman will vote on the consolidation issue during this election.

Novice ISD is also having a school board meeting at 6 p.m.
