Since 1994, AHH has housed thousands of people while providing food, transportation, childcare, and supportive services. Most importantly, they have a program that helps these residents become self-sufficient.
On Monday, Alana Jeter of AHH, discussed the organization's causes and their recent fundraiser called BOO$T for Hope. The event is asking individuals to drop off monetary goods, paper or canned goods to help support the homeless.
This time is the most crucial for the organization for October is a beginning to their fiscal year. The members will make it easier for anyone to donate by not stepping out of their cars. Their goal is to make $5,000 in four hours.
