Updated: October 30, 2012
Abilene Hope Haven will be holding the 1st Annual BOO$T for Hope on Tuesday, October 30 from 4:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at the Transitional Homeless Shelter, located at 801 South Treadaway.

AHH is asking individuals to drive by and drop off a donation to assist the mission of Abilene Hope Haven: curing homelessness, one person at a time.  They are accepting monetary donations, paper goods, and canned goods.

AHH staff, board members, and volunteers will be dressed in their best costumes, handing out candy to donors.

October is the beginning of a new fiscal year for Abilene Hope Haven.

This event is an opportunity for people to give the organization a financial boost to start the year off right.

The goal is to raise $5,000 in just four hours.

Any amount donated  will directly impact Abilene Hope Haven and allow it to continue serving the homeless right here in Abilene.

For questions, please call 677-4673 or email alana@abilenehopehaven.com <mailto:alana@abilenehopehaven.com>.

AHH serves as a transitional housing program for homeless individuals or families for up to one year. AHH provides housing, food, transportation, childcare and life skill training up to one year at no cost to residents.
