With the big night just one day away, many last-minute Halloween shoppers hit up stores in Abilene today.

The Halloween Boutique off Danville Drive was filled with adults and kids purchasing costumes ahead of Wednesday night.

While princesses and superheroes are always a favorite, this year's most popular costume might not be one you think of right off the bat.

"It's a fan suit," says Crystal Musquiz from Spirit Halloween. "You can put funny hair on it, a lot of kids were wearing it for pep rallies,  they really made it their own "

The so-called "skin suits" are actually all sold out at the store.

Starting November 1, Most Halloween stores are marking costumes and decorations to half-off, so you can stock up for next year.
