Short Film Festival Returns To Abilene

The Paramount Theatre screens many movies at the historic downtown location, but it's an event each year that reaches international status.

For 16 years, the theatre hosts the 24fps International Short Film Festival that gathers independent and student filmmakers from around the world. Several from this country, Canada, Spain, Poland, and so many other countries will put forth their best short film work at the event this Friday and Saturday.

Past winners have gone to win many prestigious awards such as the Academy Awards, Cannes, Sundance, and Berlin. All movies will be 20 minutes or less
