The Texas Workforce Commission, Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas, Texas Veterans Commission and Texas Medical Center have joined together to provide a job fair specifically for regional veterans.

This job fair is designed to connect regional veterans with Texas employers who can benefit from veterans' experience and discipline.

There is no cost for job seekers or employers to participate in this event.

The job fair will be held on November 15  from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center.

Employers are encouraged to register now at www.workforcesystem.org. Follow the link to the registration form.  Registrations are due by November 8 2012.

There is no employer registration fee,  however,  employers should have current, verifiable, legitimate job opportunities for veterans.

The registration for the event will include a 10 x 10 booth, table, two chairs, and lunch for two.  Each booth comes with electricity and free wireless internet, if needed.

For more information, contact Robert Puls or Steve Collins, at (325) 795-4397 for more information about this event.
