Days like Halloween where all sorts of individuals are out in public is when people may tend to put more emphasis on their safety.

Abilene Martial Art Center's Phil Sage stopped by on the show Thursday to advice people that there's never a specific time to learn how to defend yourself from potential attackers.

Sage showed certain self defense moves that individuals could practice. Majority of these moves all have the common basic style of grabbing the arm and an outward push to ones elbow.

Aside from teaching a few moves, Sage invites viewers to their upcoming Kick-A-Thon where visitors can kick their way to learning self defense while invited to make a small donation for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
