According to DPS, a trooper randomly ran Raymond Gibbs Junior's motorcycle plates near Clyde, to find his tags were expired, when the trooper attempted to pull Gibbs over, he didn't see the trooper because his bike didn't have rear view mirrors.

DPS says once Gibbs finally noticed he was being pulled over, he gunned it to 110 miles per hour. A few miles down the road, he was blocked in by additional police and was arrested for evading arrest.
