A Snyder man was shot and killed by police after holding a knife to a baby, according to the Snyder Daily News.

The Snyder Daily News reports that it happened in the 500 block of 27th St., when police responded to a call of a man holding a knife to a baby around 7 a.m. Saturday.

After a nearly two-hour negotiation, the man allegedly pulled out a knife and was shot by officers. He later died at a local hospital.
