Eastland County Residents Voting on Alcohol Sales

By: Homa Bash
Updated: November 5, 2012
Some Big Country residents will vote on whether alcohol sales will be allowed in Cisco, Eastland and Rising Star.

It's a ballot measure that's garnered a lot of controversy over the past few months with supporters saying it will help business, and opponents are worried about the negative impacts.

Thanks to a polling program that was recently implemented, voters can cast their ballots at any polling place in Eastland County on Tuesday, regardless of where they live. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
