Christmas Operation Collecting Gifts For Needy Kids

With holidays around the corner, many may start think about Christmas
shopping, decorations, food, and any activities affiliated with the
day.
For some Abilene and Brownwood volunteers, they're thinking of a benefit first. Operation Christmas Child is a national collection that go for a week where people give boxes filled with items such as toys, school supplies and hygiene necessities.
The regional efforts in Abilene received 4, 500 boxes last year and is expected to reach 5, 000. It's a goal for Mike Greenfield of OCC that he wishes to achieve.
This National Collection Week started by Franklin Graham will go from November 12-19.
Many people use this a way to bond with their family while making a difference worldwide.
