Nina Lucas has plenty of grandchildren.

She's really got seven, but if you as her, she'll tell you she has many more than that.

Not all of them a her own, but as a foster grandmother she sees every single one of the little ones she takes care of as family.

She even brags about them like any grandmother would.

The 80 year-old spends four hours a day rocking babies to sleep, or reading them a book.

She doesn't have to do it, but its become the favorite part of her day.

Her oldest grandson is 38.

She still reads him books and gives him the attention he rarely received while growing up in the foster system.

She's rocked countless number of babies to sleep for more than 10 years.

The routine never seems to grow old.

Because she knows just how important a grandparent can be.
