HSU's Turner Earns ASC Honor For 2nd Week

Hardin-Simmons senior quarterback Logan Turner (Springtown, Texas /SHS) was 38 of 53 passing for 559 yards and seven touchdowns to guide a 65-58 road win in double overtime over Texas Lutheran. 

Turner led a 61-yard drive that resulted in a field goal and the Cowboys tying the game at 51-51 with 26 seconds to play in the fourth quarter.

He had a 24-yard TD pass in the first overtime to answer a Bulldogs TD.

Turner has taken the league's top weekly offense award in back-to-back weeks. In that time, he has thrown for 1,244 yards and 15 TDs.
