A district title was one of the very first goals this Anson football team set for themselves at the very beginning of the season. Now they are just one day away from making that goal a reality.

"We've talked about the possibly District Championship this week and it would definitely be something that would be a special moment for our seniors especially." Says Head Coach Keith Woolf.

"A District Title for this team would mean a lot because it was our first goal, our main goal, from the beginning of the season." adds Senior Hayden Stoval.

"They've been the big dog around the area for a long time, and our kids know that, so they are excited about getting the opportunity to at least play them and see what happens. We respect those guys and they are really good, and we are just going to give it our best shot Friday night. But we've got to be who we are and not change what we do." continues Coach Woolf.

"They are a good team and I don't feel like we will prove ourselves until we do defeat them, and I just cant wait." adds Senior Jacob Rodgers.

Just like the Stamford Bulldogs, a district title hasn't been here in Anson for quite a while. Of course only time will tell tomorrow whether or not a district title will be back here in Anson.
