Abilene High taking on Midland High at Shotwell Stadium to finish the regular season.

The Abilene High Eagles taking on Midland High. The Eagles are the outright District Champs. The Bulldogs can still go to the playoffs.

1st Eagles possession. Evin Abbe gets the Eagles out of a hole. He hits Grant Alexander for a 40 yard gain.

That leads to the 1st score... Abbe scrambles and finds Marcel Porter for the touchdown. 7-0 Eagles.

The Eagles defense makes a play on the next Midland High possession. Jake McMillon recovers the fumble.

The offense takes advantage. Abbe rolls out and hits Douglas Wilson in the end zone. Eagles lead it, 14-0.

2nd quarter. Abilene High with the ball, again. Porter gets the corner and he is off and running. Porter gets down inside the 30 yard line. 1st down Eagles.

Later on that drive... Abbe scrambling, again and he finds Porter, again. Nice catch by the running back. Eagles lead it, 21-0.

The defense playing a great 1st half. Jake McMillon with his 2nd sack of the half.

Next Midland possession. Gabriel Jordan leads the pack to the Quarterback for the sack. The Eagles blocked a field goal on the next play.

Eagles lead it, 21-0 at the half.

3rd quarter. the Eagles put it in the end zone. Abbe scrambling, again and this time he finds Devonte Taylor for the touchdown. Abbe's 4th touchdown pass of the year. 28-0.

The Eagles go on to win over Midland 28-21.
