Abilene Students Salute Veterans with Special Performance

Some Abilene students took the time to honor veterans Thursday.

Thomas Elementary fourth and fifth graders presented a special patriotic program for Big Country veterans.

The performance pictured above took place Thursday afternoon.

The students will put on another performance at 6:30 Thursday evening...

The event is held every year to honor veterans and help students learn the importance of the day.
