More windy conditions out there Friday as winds gust upwards of 35 MPH by the afternoon.

Other than that, mostly sunny skies with a few clouds building in and temperatures getting into the lower 80s.

The breeze will continue into the evening as we have partly cloudy skies and comfortable temps, with overnight lows as warm as the mid 60s.

Saturday, winds will be as strong, if not stronger, than today and the weather will be pretty similar with partly cloudy skies and temps in the low 80s.

Early morning Sunday, a cold front will pass through the area bringing a slight chance for thunderstorms, with the best chance being northeast of Abilene.

High temperature will be right around 70 degrees.

It will be even cooler on Monday with high temperatures in the mid 50s and overnight lows at or below freezing.

As we head into the middle of next week, we will gradually begin to warm back up towards normal conditions.
