A strong cold front is right on our doorstep. With its arrival we will see a chance for thunderstorms tonight after midnight mainly in our central and northern counties. Sunday will be slightly cooler than the last few days, but it will not be as windy. We will be near the freezing mark both sunday night and monday night here in Abilene. The normally colder spots will be in the upper 20's.

On tuesday, high pressure will begin to shift to our east, allowing temperatures to slowly moderate. Lows will be in the 40's and highs in the mid to upper 60's Wednesday and Thursday.

O
n Friday and Saturday, clouds will begin to increase as moisture slowly increases back to normal values for this time of year. Temperatures will be in the low 50's with highs in the low 70's under partly cloudy skies.
