Updated: November 12, 2012
Abilene Christian was showing it's appreciation for veterans Monday with a chapel service dedicated to active and retired military.

Two local veterans were honored, as well as recognition for local vets present at the service, along with patriotic music honoring all branches of the military.

And elementary students from Dyess were also thanking veterans by putting on a concert.

The 5th grade production, called "We Will Never Forget" is a yearly tradition, sung to the residents at Royal Estates senior center.

The students also thanked the veterans after singing classics like God Bless America.
