A cold start to this Tuesday morning!

Freeze warnings have been issued for the majority of the Big Country with temperatures right around the freezing mark this morning.

There is a shelf of clouds this morning that will dominate the morning hours, but will burn off as the day goes on and the temperatures Tuesday will get to the upper 50s.

Another cold one on tap for Tuesday night with temperatures expected to get down to freezing again under clear skies.

Thursday's temperatures should return to the 60s under sunny skies.

Morning lows will be chilly all week long, however, a gradual warming trend is expected to continue all the way through the end of the week and, by next week, daytime highs should return to the 70s and overnight lows should be only in the 50s.

There is no rain to speak of in the foreseeable future, however there may be some more clouds later this weekend into next week.
