The Abilene High Eagles enter the post season with a perfect 10 and oh record this year.

This is the 1st time Coach Warren's team has been undefeated in the regular season since they won the state championship in 2009, and it's just the 5th time since Coach Warren took over as the head coach.

In other words, it doesn't happen very often, and the coach is proud of his teams accomplishment.

Coach Warren said, "We get spoiled around here thinking these things come easy, and they don't. Every single time that we line up to play a game,  that team that we are playing, it's a Super Bowl to them. They think they can make their season by beating Abilene High. We got to be ready to give everybody our best shot, and 10 times in a row we've been able to do that withouth a hiccup. Have we played our best football yet? No, we haven't, but have we won 10 games? You bet we have, and we're excited about that, and I really proud of my team for being able to do that."

Abilene High looks to make it 11 wins in a row on Saturday. They are headed to Odessa to take on El Paso Montwood at 1 at Ratliff Stadium for the bi-district championship.
