The Bangs Dragons enter the playoffs on a bit of a hot-streak. Winning their last four games, and scoring almost fifty points a game in the process. At the same time no team has got within 30 points of the Dragons. That means Bangs is hitting their peak at the right time of the year.

"That's one thing. You want to be clicking and peaking at the right time. I feel we're at that stage. The Wall game was a tough [one]] for us, and we set a goal that we wanted to win four straight and get better each week. That's what they've done," said head coach Chuck Lipsey.

"After we got beat pretty bad by Wall...everybody wanted to do what ever we could to make it to the playoffs. Most of the team are seniors. So, we just wanted to step up and do what we could do to get as far as we can," said Jacob Beckwith. " We got some very good teams at the beginning. We got to do what we can do to beat them and get further."

"We're excited about being in the third part of the football season and making it to the playoffs. That was one of  our main goals. We've just got to stay focused and prepare for a toughone against Breckenridge," said Lipsey. "We're where we need to be right now but we've got to keep getting better and be ready for Friday night."

The team the Drangs will take on, Breckenridge, is also on a bit of a hot streak since the start of district. The two of them will meet Friday night at Bulldog Stadium in Abilene.
