The McMurry War Hawks are the only college football team in the Big Country still playing football.

The War Hawks are getting ready to take on Division 1 New Mexico in an exhibition game at Moore Stadium.

Head coach Hal Mumme's team enters the game with a 4-game winning streak, and even though its officially an exhibition game, they want to extend that streak to 5 in a row.

War Hawks offensive lineman Kiefer Price said, "I don't think we really think about that. I think, once we step on the field, our competitive nature takes over, and it's just another game to us. Whether it counts towards our record or not, we always want to win. I think everybody on this team is competitive, and we hate losing more than we actually want to win. We don't want to just go out there and play for fun. We're playing to get a victory. We've been getting better every year. I am really impressed with how the team has come together, and the way we've been able to compete in Division II."

Saturday's game starts at 2 at Moore Stadium. McMurry will finish the season in the Heart of Texas Bowl against Southern Arkansas on December 1st.
