Last year the Brownwood Lions ended Glen Rose's season. This year it was the Tigers' chance to return the favor.

Offense was hard to come by in the early goings for the Lions. Especially after quarterback Chris Keesee was sacked by Jared Thames in the first quarter.

The Tigers would be the first to find the endzone on Friday night with a run by Cody Burtscher to make it 7-0 Glen Rose.

Brownwood would find a way to get into scoring position, but it would come from their defense. A pick by senior Cooper Howie would help setup a Matt McCrane field goal to make it 7-3.

The Lions would later find the endzone, but so would the Tigers. In the end that would be the difference in Glen Rose's 14-10 victory in Stephenville.
