The Wylie Lady Bulldogs are back in the state tournament for the 3rd year in a row.

This time, they enter the tournament as the favorite to bring home the title.

It would be Wylie's 1st state championship in the sports, so the coach is sure her girls will be ready to go Friday afternoon.

Wylie head coach Maggie Hunt said, "Honestly, it's not too hard to keep these girls focused.  I think they know the task at hand. They know the challenge that we are about to have on Friday afternoon."

Kylie Jenkins says, "We just need to focus on what we do on our side of the court, rather than, what the other team does because we can take control of what we do."

Tucker Smith says, "We've been the past couple of year. We said, ever since we were in 7th grade, that we want to go and win state. It's such an exciting thing for us to be able to back there."

The Lady Bulldogs open the state tournament tomorrow against Argyle in Garland at 1. The winner will play at 3 on Saturday for the state championship.
